Nissan X-Trail launched at Rs 49.92 lakh

The Nissan X-Trail competes with the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq and MG Gloster.

Nissan has launched the fourth-generation X-Trail in the Indian market. The SUV will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU) and is offered at Rs 49.92 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Nissan X-Trail is based on the CMF-C platform. It measures 4,680 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width, 1,725 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,705 mm. 

In India, Nissan offers the 7-seater version of the X-Trail. The SUV is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. It also gets features such as a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 2-zone automatic climate control, wireless charger, cruise control and an electronic parking brake.

Safety features include 7 airbags, a 360-degree camera, automatic wipers, traction control, hill-start assist, front parking sensors, ABS and EBD.

Powering the X-Trail is a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine paired with a 12V mild-hybrid system. It produces 160 BHP and 300 Nm and is mated to a shift-by-wire CVT gearbox. It also comes with a limited-slip differential.

The Nissan X-Trail is available in three colour options: Champagne Silver, Pearl White, and Diamond Black. It competes with the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq and MG Gloster.
