Next-gen Force Gurkha spotted testing sans camouflage

This time however, the off-roader appears to be in production-ready state without any camouflage.

The next-gen Force Gurkha has once again been spotted testing near Pune. This time however, the off-roader appears to be in production-ready state without any camouflage.

The new Gurkha was unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo. It retains the outgoing car's G-Wagon inspired looks. The Gurkha gets fender-mounted indicators, circular LED daytime running lights, a snorkel intake, roof carrier and a tailgate mounted spare wheel.

On the inside, the car gets a utilitarian, single-tone interior, but with dual airbags and a touchscreen infotainment head-unit. The car showcased at the Auto Expo had dual-tone interiors. The car gets 2 rows of front facing seats and 2 sideways sitting jump seats for the third row.

The Gurkha will be powered by a BS6-compliant 2.6-litre diesel engine that produces 89 BHP and is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
