MV Agusta has opened bookings for the Brutale 1090 superbike. The direct import has been priced at Rs. 19.30 lakh (ex-showroom Pune). The motorcycle can be booked on motoroyale.in and the first 10 customers will get the delivery of their bikes in 20 days.
The Brutale 1090 is powered by a 1,078cc, in-line, 4-cylinder DOHC, 16-valve engine that produces 144 BHP @ 10,300 rpm and 112 Nm of torque @ 8,100 rpm. Transmission duties are carried out by a 6-speed gearbox. The claimed top speed of the bike is 265 km/h.
The motorcycle is built on a steel tubular trellis frame with a thermoplastic fairing and uses a single-sided swing-arm with aluminium alloy pivot plates. The Brutale 1090 is supported by Marzocchi upside-down telescopic front forks and gets a Sachs monoshock absorber at the rear.
The bike has a 23L fuel tank and tips the scales at 183 kg (dry). Stopping power up front comes from dual 310 mm disc brakes with Brembo 4-piston calipers, while at the rear, the bike features a 210 mm disc with a Nissin 4-piston caliper. Electronic goodies include an 8-level traction control system and a 2-step ABS (with rear-wheel lift-up mitigation) with 4 in-built maps.
Colours available include Matt Black and Matt White.
