Triumph Daytona 660 launched at Rs 9.72 lakh

The Daytona 660 is the replacement for the Daytona 675.

Triumph has launched its all-new middleweight sportbike, the Daytona 660, in India. It is priced at Rs 9,72,450 (ex-showroom).

The Daytona 660 will be the third motorcycle in Triumph's 660cc lineup, after the Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660. The fully-faired bike features twin LED headlamps up front, an underbody exhaust and split seats.

The Daytona 660 is powered by a 660cc 3-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which produces 94 BHP @ 11,250 rpm and 69 Nm @ 8,250 rpm. 80% of the torque is available right from 3,125 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox via a torque-assist clutch.

The lightweight sports frame is equipped with Showa 41 mm upside-down forks at the front and a mono-shock with preload adjustment at the rear. The bike rides on 5-spoke cast aluminium wheels, while braking is handled by twin 310 mm disc brakes at the front and a single disc at the rear.

The Daytona 660 comes with ride-by-wire throttle and has three riding modes: Sport, Rain & Road. Other features include a colour TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, traction control and ABS.
