MV Agusta has presented two new ADV motorcycles at EICMA 2021. The smaller capacity model is called the 5.5 whereas the larger capacity bike has been named the 9.5.

MV Agusta 5.5

MV Agusta has developed this model in collaboration with QJ Motors - Benelli's parent company. The 5.5 features a dual-headlamp setup, LED DRLs, knuckle guards, dual-purpose tyres, a rear luggage rack and a side-mounted exhaust. It also has a 20-litre fuel tank, a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wheel.

Powering the MV Agusta 5.5 is a 554cc, parallel-twin engine that generates 52 Nm of peak torque. It is a reworked version of the same motor that we have already seen on the Benelli TRK 502, Leoncion 500, and 502C. It is capable of churning out 46.8 BHP.

MV Agusta 9.5

Being the larger capacity model, the 9.5 uses a newly developed 930cc, inline 3-cylinder engine that makes 121 BHP and 102 Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. There is also the automatic Rekluse clutch system that MV Agusta offers with the Turismo Veloce.

Some of the key features of the MV Agusta 9.5 include electronically controlled Sachs suspension, twin 320 mm front disc brakes with Brembo Stylema calipers, 7-inch TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity options.

In terms of electronics, the adventure motorcycle has launch control, 8-level traction control, cruise control, GPS, etc. The bike uses a 21-inch/19-inch wheel setup and tips the scale at 220 kg (dry).
