MG partners with Tata Power to set up EV fast chargers

MG has partnered with Tata Power to deploy 50 kW DC fast chargers at select MG dealerships across India. The two companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The fast chargers will be accessible to MG ZS EV owners. Other EV owners whose vehicles are compatible with CCS / CHAdeMO charging standards will also have access to the fast chargers.

MG has already installed ten 50 kW fast chargers at its dealerships in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The carmaker plans to install similar charging stations in more cities.

MG and Tata Power will also be exploring the possibility of second life management of EV batteries.
