Mercedes-Benz EQC electric SUV to be launched on October 8

The EQC will be Mercedes' first all-electric offering in India.

Mercedes-Benz is gearing up to launch the EQC electric SUV in India on October 8, 2020.

The EQC will be Mercedes' first all-electric offering in India. The SUV is based on a modified GLC platform and features a distinct exterior design. It has a gloss black front fascia and slim LED tail lights with a light bar that stretches across the width of the car. The EQC rides on a unique set of 10-spoke alloy wheels that have blue highlights. On the inside, the electric SUV gets a digital display for the instrument cluster and an MBUX infotainment system.

In India, Mercedes-Benz will offer the EQC 400 variant. It uses dual electric motors that have a combined output of 402 BHP and 760 Nm. The motors are powered by an 80 kWh lithium-ion battery, which has a claimed range of 445-471 km (NEDC cycle).
