Maruti XL6 MPV launched at Rs. 9.80 lakh

Maruti Suzuki has launched the Ertiga-based XL6 MPV in India. It is available in two variants - Zeta and Alpa with prices starting at Rs. 9,79,689 (ex-showroom)

The Maruti XL6 measures 4,445 mm in length, 1,775 mm in width, 1,700 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,740 mm. It has 209 litres of luggage space, which can be increased to 692 litres with the second and third row of seats folded down. Fuel tank capacity is 45 litres.

The XL6 features a trapezoidal grille with a chrome bar in the centre. It has redesigned LED headlamps and a new dual-tone front bumper that houses circular fog lamps and a silver skid plate. Moving to the side, the XL6 has black plastic cladding around the wheel arches. It also has black cladding with a silver insert along the door sills. The car has blacked-out B and C-pillars, roof rails, black ORVMs with integrated turn signals and chrome door handles. It rides on black alloy wheels. 

The XL6 gets all-black interiors. It is offered with 3-row seating with separate captain seats in the second row and reclining seats in the third row. It gets a black dashboard with faux wood trim and silver inserts. 

The XL6 comes equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity. It has ventilated cup holders, overhead console, accessory sockets in each row, rear AC vents and cruise control among other features.

The Maruti XL6 is powered by a BS-VI compliant 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology. It produces 103 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm @ 4,400 rpm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic.

The Maruti XL6 is available in six colour options - Nexa Blue, Brave Khaki, Auburn Red, Magma Grey, Premium Silver and Arctic White.
