Jaguar F-Type Coupe launched in India at Rs. 1.21 crore

Jaguar Cars, a part of Jaguar land Rover, has launched the F-Type Coupe in India.

The hard top version of the F-Type convertible, which was launched in July 2013, the Coupe is available in three variants - F-Type, F-Type S and F-Type R.

The base F-Type Coupe comes with a 2995 cc, V6 engine that produces 340 PS and 450 Nm of torque. The F-Type S uses the same engine, but with a supercharger bolted to it. This gives it an additional 40 PS of power and 10 Nm of torque. While the base coupe rides on 18-inch alloy wheels, the S gets 19-inchers as standard equipment. Both cars have centre-mounted twin exhaust pipes.

The F-Type R is powered by a 5000 cc, supercharged, V8 unit that pumps out a whopping 550 PS and 680 Nm of torque. The car comes with 20-inch alloys and quad exhaust pipes.

All three variants feature an 8-speed, automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. Other features include dynamic stability control, adaptive suspension, start / stop system, cruise control, leather upholstery and rain-sensing wipers. An optional panoramic glass roof is available on all variants.

Safety features like airbags and automatically deployable bonnet have been provided on the F-Type Coupe.

The F-Type Coupe is priced between Rs. 1.21 crore and Rs. 1.82 crore (ex-Delhi).
