Isuzu recalls D-Max V-Cross over ECU issues

Isuzu has reportedly issued a recall for the D-Max V-Cross, after the company received many customer complaints of a jerk felt at around 1,800 rpm. The automaker concluded that the cause for this jerk was a misfire at lower rpms. Hence, Isuzu will remap the ECU of recalled vehicles to enhance torque delivery around the said rpm band.

Media reports further suggest that Isuzu might also work on the pickup's rear leaf springs. This will be done to fix the clattering sound coming from the rear suspension, while the V-Cross is driven over bad roads.

Isuzu has already started to contact customers and inform them to visit their nearest Isuzu service centre in order to get the aforementioned issues sorted. All expenses regarding the tasks carried out under the recall drive will be borne by the company.
