Honda to launch Mobilio RS variant in India

Honda as we all know is all set to launch the Mobilio MPV in India this month. The big news is that along with the regular variants, the car will also be offered in the RS trim.

The RS variant is a sportier-looking version of the Mobilio with a body kit and additional equipment. The car gets a new twin-slat chrome grille, new projector headlamps with LED DRLs and an aggressive-looking front bumper with a larger air dam and fog lamp enclosures.  ORVMs with integrated turn-indicators, side skirts, a roof-mounted spoiler, a larger rear bumper, a chrome tail pipe and 15-inch black and chrome alloy wheels round up the changes to the exterior.

The interior of the RS features faux wood, a 6.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a multi-function steering wheel, reversing camera and illuminated scuff plates.

Mechanically, the RS is identical to the standard Mobilio. It is expected to be launched after the regular variants of the MPV go on sale and will be priced higher.
