Honda will be launching the facelifted City sedan in India sometime next year. Ahead of this impending launch, a few details about the updated City have surfaced, which mainly talk about the upcoming car's variant distribution.

The City facelift is expected to get a new VX+ top-end variant, which will likely come with some new features like LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, LED taillights, optional black interiors and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This new top of the line trim is also expected to get a new set of 16-inch alloys along with side & curtain airbags.

We had earlier reported that the India-spec City facelift's design won't be inspired from the Greiz sedan. The recently surfaced information has further verified these earlier reports.

Honda is not expected to make any changes to the powertrain of the City facelift, as it will likely continue to be offered with 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. Petrol engine will be mated to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT unit, while the diesel engine is expected to come with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
