Honda has launched the CB1000 Hornet SP in India. The litre-class streetfighter is priced at Rs 12,35,900 (ex-showroom).
The CB1000 Hornet features an aggressive design with dual LED headlamps, sporty fuel tank extensions, a stepped seat and a narrow tail section.
The bike is based on a steel frame suspended by a Showa SFF-BP USD fork in the front and an Ohlins TTX36 mono-shock in the rear. It rides on alloy wheels, while braking is handled by dual discs in the front and a single rotor in the rear.
Powering the CB1000 Hornet SP is a 999cc, inline 4-cylinder engine that produces 155 BHP @ 11,000 rpm and 107 Nm @ 9,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
In terms of features, the bike comes with a 5-inch colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, traction control, ABS and riding modes: Rain, Standard, Sport and User.
