Hero's 110cc motorcycle with iSmart tech spied undisguised

In November 2015, we had reported that Hero MotoCorp was testing a new 110cc commuter motorcycle with the iSmart technology (click here to read report). Now, the bike has been spotted without any camouflage.

Images suggest that the new bike has a simple design with telescopic forks at the front and a 5-step adjustable suspension at the rear. It has black alloy wheels, a long contoured seat, split pillion grab rails, clear lens turn-indicators, a chrome-tipped exhaust and an instrument cluster with blue dials.

The iSmart is believed to be powered by a 110cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled petrol engine that features Hero's i3S technology. It has an idle stop-start system, which automatically shuts the engine while idling and turns it on when the rider presses the clutch. This system is said to enhance the fuel efficiency of the bike.

Hero MotoCorp could display this motorcycle at the upcoming 2016 Auto Expo. It could be launched as the Passion iSmart.
