Hero MotoCorp discontinues the Xtreme 200S 2V

The 4-valve engine develops 6% more power and generates 5% more torque than the 2-valve unit.

Last week, Hero MotoCorp launched the Xtreme 200S 4V in India. Until recently, it was being sold alongside the Xtreme 200S 2V. Now, the bikemaker has removed the 2-valve version from its official website.

The updated 4-valve engine in the Xtreme 200S 4V has several advantages over the 2-valve version. The engine develops 6% more power and generates 5% more torque. It is also said to be more fuel efficient than the 2-valve unit.

Hero MotoCorp is also gearing up to launch the new Karizma XMR 210. The bike is likely to go on sale on August 29 and could be positioned above the Xtreme 200S 4V.

The upcoming Karizma is said to be based on a new platform and will be powered by a 210cc, liquid-cooled engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
