First Mahindra Thar Roxx to be auctioned for charity

The first unit of the 5-door Thar Roxx with VIN number 0001, is a top-spec AX7L Diesel AT 4x4 variant.

Mahindra has announced that the first unit of the Thar Roxx will be auctioned and the proceeds from the sale will be donated to charity. The auction will be held from September 15 at 17:00 hrs and ends on September 16 at 19:00 hrs. Registrations are now open.

The proceeds from the auction will be donated to any non-profit organisation of the winner’s choice. Mahindra will contribute an equal amount as the winning bid to the donation.

The first unit of the 5-door Thar Roxx with VIN number 0001, is a top-spec AX7L Diesel AT 4x4 variant and features a special badge with Anand Mahindra’s signature on it. The winner will be able to choose a colour of his/her choice from a 7-shade palette: Deep Forest, Everest White, Tango Red, Battleship Grey, Nebula Blue, Burnt Sienna, or Stealth Black.

The Thar Roxx was launched in August this year. The very first unit is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine that makes 172 BHP and 370 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox and a 4-wheel drive system.
