Italian supercar manufacturer, Ferrari has announced that it will unveil the California T at the Geneva Motors Show in March 2014. The car is slated to replace the current California.

The California T is powered by a 3855 cc, turbo charged, V8 engine, which is mounted low on the chassis and in a mid-front position. The engine produces 560 PS @ 7500 rpm (145 PS per litre) and 755 Nm of torque @ 4750 rpm, which Ferrari claims, can propel the car from a standstill to 100 kph in 3.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 316 kph. The manufacturer also claims that the California is 15% more fuel-efficient than the outgoing model. At 250 g/km, the car's emissions are 20% lower as well.

The California T gets an improved steering box, which Ferrari claims to reduce steering effort and response. New generation springs and dampers that respond 50% faster are said to improve the car's ride and handling. Driver aids include, traction control, carbon-ceramic braking system with ESP and ABS. Ferrari claims a 100-0 kph stopping distance of 34 m for the California T.

In the cabin, there is a steering wheel with integrated controls and a Turbo Performance Engineer (TPE) display placed between the two air vents on the dashboard, which shows engine data. There is a second 6.5-inch screen with both, touch and conventional operations for the infotainment system. The dash and seats are trimmed in leather.

The California T features a retractable hard-top roof.
