Ducati Scrambler bookings commence in India

Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati, has started accepting bookings for the Scrambler, its upcoming entry-level model. The booking amount is pegged at Rs. 2 lakh. 

The Scrambler sports a Trellis frame with an upside down fork suspension at the front and Kayaba monoshock at the rear. The bike comes with disc brakes on both wheels. It is powered by an 803 cc, twin-cylinder, fuel-injected, air-cooled engine capable of 75 bhp @ 8250 rpm and 68 Nm of torque @ 5750 rpm. It has a 6-speed transmission.

The Scrambler will be available in four variants - Icon, Urban Enduro, Classic and Full Throttle. All variants come with a steel tank with interchangeable aluminium side panels, headlight with LED light-guide and interchangeable aluminium cover, LED rear light, LCD instruments with interchangeable aluminium cover, machine-finished aluminium belt covers, 18-inch front, 17-inch rear wheels and an under-seat storage compartment with USB socket.

More information on the launch date of the Scrambler is awaited.
