Bajaj drops Discover 100, 100M and 125M from its line-up

Bajaj Auto has taken the Discover 100, 100M and 125M off its website, indicating that models could have been discontinued. Following this move, only three variants of the Discover remain on sale -the Discover 125, Discover 150S and Discover 125F.

Bajaj already has the Platina and CT-100 motorcycles to cater to the commuter segment. It is also believed to be working on a new brand that will cater to the 100-150cc segment. The first bike under this brand will be rolled out in FY16.

With the move to discontinue the three Discover models, the company is looking to position the Discover brand a step higher than the 100-125cc commuter segment.
