Audi e-tron electric SUV spotted at dealership

The Audi e-tron will lock horns with the Mercedes-Benz EQC and the Jaguar I-Pace.

Audi is gearing up to launch its first all-electric SUV, the e-tron in India. Now, new images of the car have surfaced online, which suggest that dealer dispatches have begun ahead of its formal launch.

The Audi e-tron is a 4-door electric SUV. Keeping with the trend, Audi has gone with a futuristic design, while maintaining its traditional look. In terms of its proportions, the car is slightly longer than the Q5.

The Audi e-tron is powered by two electric motors - one on each axle. The combined power output is 355 BHP and 561 Nm. In S mode, the power output is boosted to 402 BHP and 664 Nm for 8 seconds. The car uses a 95 kWh battery pack that is claimed to offer a maximum range of 400 km (WLTP cycle) on a single charge. It can be recharged to 80% capacity within 30 minutes using a DC fast-charger.
