932 units of Datsun redi-GO recalled over faulty fuel hose

After Renault India issued a recall of the Kwid hatchback yesterday, its badge reengineered sibling, the Datsun redi-GO too has been recalled. 932 units of the entry-level hatch have fallen under the batch manufactured before May 18, 2016.

The recall is to fix the same fuel system related fault that has also been noticed in the Kwid. Nissan India will be inspecting all recalled models at authorized service centres, while a fuel hose clip will be replaced, if needed.

All inspection and replacement expenses will be taken care of by the manufacturer. Official Nissan dealers have started contacting affected owners to bring their cars for inspection.
