7-seater Mahindra XUV300 (S204) spotted testing in India

The 7-seater version of the Mahindra XUV300 (codenamed: S204) has been caught testing in India. The test car was spotted on the outskirts of Chennai.

The S204 is expected to be based on the Ssangyong Tivoli XLV and could feature minor styling changes in India. Reports suggest that it could also get new features and revised powertrains.

The test mule of the S204 has dummy headlights, turn signals and a grille with vertical slats. It has roof rails and a shark fin antenna, while the rear features dummy tail lights and a roof spoiler.

The S204 is rumoured to be powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that is available on the XUV300. It produces 115 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 300 Nm @ 1,500-2,500 rpm. Mahindra could also introduce a 1.5-litre, turbocharged petrol engine in the S204.
