2024 Hyundai Tucson N Line gets 226 BHP hybrid powertrain

Hyundai is yet to announce the pricing for the 2024 Tucson N Line.

While Hyundai doesn't offer a full-blown N version of the Tucson, the SUV does get a slightly sportier variant in the form of the 'N Line' trim.

The previous iterations of the Tucson N Line were powered by a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine. However, Hyundai has now introduced its 2024 Tucson N Line with a 1.6-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder hybrid powertrain, which according to the carmaker, offers more power and better fuel economy.

The hybrid powertrain on the 2024 Hyundai Tucson N Line produces 226 BHP and 350 Nm; this is 39 BHP & 108 Nm more than the older naturally-aspirated engine. Apart from the increased power figures, the Tucson N Line also gets a 6-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system as standard.

With the inclusion of hybrid technology, the 2024 Tucson N Line also offers improved fuel efficiency. The N Line trim of the SUV claims to offer around 37 mpg (15.7 km/l) in the city and on the highway. This is significantly higher than its previous iterations.

Alongside the hybridized powertrain, the 2024 Hyundai Tucson N Line also gets a host of additional safety features. These include rear side airbags, rear outboard seatbelt pre-tensioners & force limiters and haptic feedback on the steering wheel for blind-spot and lane-keep alerts.
