Jeep Compass Anniversary Edition launched in India

Prices for the Compass start at Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Jeep is celebrating its 8th anniversary in India. To mark the occasion, the carmaker has launched the Compass Anniversary Edition.

The Compass Anniversary Edition features several cosmetic updates over the standard car. On the outside, the SUV gets a hood decal and a Velvet Red front grille insert. Inside, it gets Velvet Red seat covers, white ambient lighting and a dashcam.

There have been no changes on the mechanical front, though. The Jeep Compass is available with a 2.0-litre diesel engine that makes 168 BHP and 350 Nm. The engine is mated with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic gearbox.

Bookings for the Anniversary Edition are now open. Prices for the Compass start at Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
