2015 Chevrolet Sail unveiled at Auto Guangzhou

Chevrolet has unveiled the 2015 Sail sedan at Auto Guangzhou. This is the 3rd generation Sail and has been aptly named the Sail 3. The Sail 3 is 51 mm longer and 45 mm wider than its predecessor. The wheelbase too has been increased by 35 mm.

Engine options include a 1.3-litre VVT and a 1.5-litre DVVT unit. These engine can be matched to a manual or "mechanical automatic" transmission with the start/stop function.

Notable exterior differences include a new front grille, new headlamps, new tail lamps, reworked bumpers and new rear view mirrors.

Since its introduction, Chevrolet has sold nearly 1.4 million units of the Sail in China.
