Yamaha has revealed a new version of the Aerox in Indonesia. The Aerox Alpha maxi-scooter gets sporty styling tweaks and new features.
The Aerox Alpha features a more aggressive design compared to the standard version available in India. It has dual LED headlamps with integrated turn signals and a reworked rear end with a new LED taillight. The maxi-scooter is available in seven striking colour combinations.
The Aerox Alpha is equipped with a TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, traction control, and Emergency Stop Signal.
The Aerox Alpha is powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 15 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm @ 8,000 rpm. The engine is now mated to an Electric CVT (YECVT) transmission, offering two riding modes and three acceleration modes.
The Aerox Alpha has a telescopic fork at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. It rides on alloy wheels and gets disc brakes at both ends.
