2025 Kia Carens to be revealed on May 8

The 2025 Kia Carens is likely to be sold alongside the current model.

According to a media report, Kia will officially reveal the 2025 edition of the Carens on May 8. It is said that the updated version will be sold alongside the current model.

The new Carens will feature several cosmetic updates on the outside. The car will retain the split headlamp setup but with L-shaped LED DRLs, while the rear will feature vertically stacked LED taillights connected by an LED light bar.

Top variants of the Carens are expected to be equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, and an updated digital instrument cluster. It could also get advanced safety features like a 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS.

The Carens is expected to retain the current set of engines. These include the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT. The diesel engine will be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.
