Urus helps Lamborghini nearly double its sales in H1 2019

Lamborghini has almost doubled its sales in the first six months of 2019. It sold 4,553 cars, which is a 96% increase compared to the same period in 2018. It is also higher than the total sales posted in 2017.

Out of 4,553 cars sold, the Urus SUV accounted for 2,693 units, which is more than the sales of the Huracan and the Aventador combined. The Huracan sold 1,211 units while the Aventador sold 649 units.

The United States was Lamborghini's biggest single market followed by China, United Kingdom, Japan, and Germany. America saw the demand increase by 128% to 1,543, while Asia Pacific more than doubled its sales to 1,184 units. The EMEA region, which consists of Europe, Middle East, and Africa, posted an increase of 67% to 1,826 cars.
