TVS Racing & Sherco Motorcycles partner up for Dakar 2015

TVS Racing and French off-road motorcycle maker Sherco have joined hands to compete in the 2015 Dakar Rally. The two manufacturers will participate under the "Sherco TVS Rally Factory team" banner.

The team will field two motorcycles at the rally. Alain Dulcos and Fabien Planet, the riders for the team will compete astride a motorcycle dubbed the "RTR450". Under the special racing arrangement, engineers from TVS Racing will be working alongside the team from Sherco and its racing affiliates (Mac Racing, Michelin, Selle Dalla Valle, Moto Master, Exact and F2r) at the 2015 Dakar.

The event that spans across a fortnight is scheduled to take place between 3rd January 2015 and 17th January 2015 in Argentina, Bolivia and Chile.
