Tata Motors trademarks Camo / Dark editions

Recent trademark applications filed by Tata Motors indicate that the carmaker could launch Camo and Dark editions of their current and upcoming cars.

Tata has trademarked the Camo and #Dark names for cars like the Tiago, Tigor and Altroz. The carmaker has also trademarked the name Gravitas Camo, which will be based on the upcoming 7-seater version of the Harrier.

While we still don't have the details about the changes these versions will have compared to the existing offerings, it is mostly likely that the cars could get cosmetic updates on the outside along with minor changes on the interiors. Changes on the powertrain front are unlikely.

If the Harrier Dark Edition is anything to go by, the #Dark editions could get a black exterior shade with blacked out exterior trims, black alloy wheels and all-black interiors.
