Tata mocks Maruti S-Presso for zero-star safety rating

Tata's latest ad takes a dig at the Maruti S-Presso, which failed the Global NCAP crash test.

Earlier this week, the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso failed the Global NCAP crash test. In response to this, Tata has released an ad taking a dig at the S-Presso. The photo shows a broken coffee mug with coffee beans lying around. It has a text which reads "We don't break that easy" and also mentions the Tiago's 4-star Global NCAP Safety rating.

This is not the first time Tata has taken a dig at its rivals. The Tata Altroz ads targeted all its rivals, and one took a dig specifically at the new Hyundai i20.

The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso scored zero points for adult occupant safety in Global NCAP crash tests. The car was awarded 2 stars for child occupant safety. The bodyshell and footwell area of the car were rated as unstable.
