Tata-AIG refuses insurance renewal due to accident claim

Tata-AIG has refused to renew a comprehensive insurance policy due to accident claims in the previous year. Instead, the company has offered a Liability Only policy.

BHPian blue_pulsar's Ford EcoSport has been insured with Tata-AIG since the last 2 years - from the day he bought it. In 2019, he met with a minor accident when the car ahead stopped suddenly and he could not stop on time. He also got hit from behind by another car. The front bumper had to be replaced and the tailgate was bent. Tata-AIG processed it as two claims.

When questioned over their refusal to renew the policy, they said that he had too many claims.
