Tata Ace Gold launched at Rs. 3.75 lakh

Tata Motors has launched its updated Ace Gold in the Indian market. The light truck is priced at Rs. 3.75 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be available in an arctic white colour.

The Tata Ace Gold is the entry-level variant and features pre-facelift styling. It has a split grille flanked by circular headlamps and circular turn signals and a black front bumper. While it looks identical to the original Tata Ace, the company claims that it features ergonomic improvements over the old model, which includes the steering wheel and dashboard.

The Ace Gold is powered by a 702 cc, 2-cylinder diesel engine that produces 15 BHP @ 3,200 rpm and 37.5 Nm of peak torque @ 2,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox. It rides on a rigid axle in the front and a live axle setup in the rear with parabolic leaf springs and hydraulic shock absorbers.

The Tata Ace Gold is offered with various value added services like Tata Alert - 24x7 breakdown assistance program, Tata Delight - loyalty program with free insurance, Tata Zippy - time bound repair commitment and Tata Kavach - time bound accident repair promise.
