Suzuki V-Strom SX launched at Rs. 2.12 lakh

The V-Strom SX competes with the KTM 250 Adventure in the quarter-litre ADV segment.

Suzuki Motorcycles has launched a new ADV in the Indian market. The Suzuki V-Strom SX is priced at Rs. 2,11,600 (ex-showroom) and will compete with the KTM 250 Adventure.

The V-Strom SX measures 2,180 mm in length, 880 mm in width, 1,355 mm in height and its wheelbase is 1,440 mm. The bike weighs 167 kg and comes with a 12-litre fuel tank.

The styling of the V-Strom SX is inspired by its larger 650cc sibling. It features an octagonal LED headlamp with a beak and an upright windscreen. The bike comes with a digital instrument cluster that offers Bluetooth connectivity and features like turn-by-turn navigation, call, SMS and Whatsapp alerts, speed exceeding warnings, phone battery level indicator and a USB charging port.

Powering the V-Strom SX is a 250cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It produces 26 BHP @ 9,300 rpm and 22 Nm @ 7,300 rpm. The bike comes equipped with telescopic fork suspension at the front with a monoshock at the rear and has disc brakes at both ends. The suspension offers a ground clearance of 205 mm.
