Scoop: More details on the Tata Safari

The car will be available in four variants and two seating configurations.

More details of the upcoming Tata Safari have surfaced.

The SUV will be available in four variants - XE, XM, XT and XZ, and in 2 seating configurations - 6-seater (with captain seats for the middle row) and 7-seater (with bench seat for the middle row).

The car is said to be equipped with a panoramic sunroof in the XT and XZ variants, rear disk brakes and an electronic parking brake. Colour options will include Royale Blue, Orcus White, and Daytona Grey.

The styling of the new Safari is similar to that of the Harrier. The vehicle is expected to be offered with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 170 BHP and 350 Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The SUV will be unveiled on January 26, 2021.
