Russia: VW Vento facelift spotted undisguised

Volkswagen has been quietly working on a facelift for the Vento. Known as the Polo sedan in certain markets, the facelifted Vento has been spotted undisguised in Russia. Changes include the lower placement of the Volkswagen badge on the grille, thus eliminating the need for the cut out in the bonnet. The bonnet itself is a new unit with two creases. The car also gets a new front bumper, restyled fog-lamps, new three-slat front grille and there could also be a provision for front parking sensors.

At the rear, the Vento facelift features a chrome strip above the registration plate enclosure, a chrome strip in the rear bumper along with thin reflectors. The car could also get a smaller radio antenna. Mechanical change, if any, remain speculatory for now.
