Russia: 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift unveiled

Hyundai has revealed the Verna facelift for the Russian market, where it is called the Solaris.

The updated Solaris gets a redesigned front end featuring a new trapezoidal grille and headlamp clusters with integrated LED daytime running lights. Unlike the Chinese version, which has silver slats, the Solaris has a gloss black mesh grille.

At the rear, the Solaris gets conventional wraparound tail lights and a dual-tone bumper. The car has blacked-out B-pillars and comes with 5-spoke alloy wheels.

The Russia-spec Verna facelift (Solaris) has an all-black interior with a touchscreen infotainment head-unit. It has a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a twin-dial instrument cluster with an MID in the centre.

In India, the Verna facelift is expected to be offered with BS6-compliant 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine options. Transmission options are likely to include a manual, 6-speed automatic and CVT.
