Rumour: Skoda Vision IN could be called Kosmiq

According to a media report, the SUV based on the Skoda Vision IN Concept could be called Kosmiq.

The Kosmiq will be based on the MQB A0 IN platform and is expected to be launched sometime in 2021. It is likely to be powered by a 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol engine producing 148 BHP.

The Vision IN Concept was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. The SUV measures 4,256 mm in length and has a wheelbase of 2,671 mm.

The SUV features a typical Skoda grille with vertical slats and slim twin-pod LED headlights. The fog lamps are placed below the main headlamps. It has dual-tone 19-inch alloy wheels and a light strip at the rear.

On the inside, the concept comes with a 12.3-inch infotainment head unit, 3-spoke steering wheel, virtual cockpit and a crystalline assistant in the centre of the dashboard.
