According to a media report, KTM is likely to discontinue the Duke 125 and RC 125 from the Indian market.
Reports suggest that both 125cc models are unlikely to be upgraded to comply with the OBD2B regulations and will not be available from April 1, 2025 onwards.
KTM launched the Duke 125 in India in 2018. The new-gen model was introduced globally last year. The latest iteration of the beginner-friendly streetfighter is powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It produces 14.7 BHP and 11 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The RC 125 is the entry-level fully-faired sports bike in KTM’s line-up. It is powered by the same engine as the Duke 125. It was pitted against the Yamaha R15 in the Indian market.
