Rumour: Honda Jazz facelift launch in July 2018

According to a media report, Honda is likely to launch the Jazz facelift later this month.

The Honda Jazz facelift was unveiled at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. While the car retains its overall proportions, exterior styling has been slightly tweaked. It features a new grille, new front bumper with a thin front splitter and a diffuser at the rear. The redesigned LED headlamps get L-shaped LED DRLs. It gets side skirts, a rear spoiler and new 16-inch alloy wheels finished in black.

On the inside, the basic dashboard layout remains the same. It is expected to come with leather upholstery with contrast stitching. Honda might offer automatic headlamps and an updated infotainment system on the hatchback.

The new Jazz will be mechanically identical to the outgoing model. Currently, Honda offers the Jazz with a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine which produces 89 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 110 Nm @ 4,800 rpm paired with a 5-speed manual or a CVT and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel unit which puts out 99 BHP @ 3,600 rpm and 200 Nm @ 1,750 rpm mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
