Rumour: Hero-Harley co-developed bikes showcased in India

Hero is said to have showcased a cruiser that looked similar to the Harley-Davidson 338R.

According to a media report, Hero MotoCorp has showcased two upcoming bikes developed in collaboration with Harley-Davidson to select dealers in India.

The report states that one of the bikes presented at the private event was a cruiser that looked similar to the Harley-Davidson 338R. However, the bike did not have any badges or branding at the time.

The company is also said to have presented a street bike at the event. Reports suggest that this model featured more aggressive styling and had a single-cylinder engine.

Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson announced their partnership following the latter’s exit from the Indian market. The first bike developed in collaboration with the American brand is expected to debut by March 2024. It is likely to be positioned in the middleweight segment and could compete with Royal Enfield.
