Petrol price lowered by 50 paise; diesel unchanged

The price of petrol has been reduced by 50 paise from November 1, 2015. As a result of this cut, it will cost Rs. 60.70 per litre in Delhi. The price of diesel has not been changed (Rs. 45.90 per litre).

Fuel prices are reviewed every fortnight in India. Prices are hiked or lowered according to international rates and the Rupee - US Dollar exchange rate.

Indian Oil, in a statement said, "The current level of international product prices and Rupee-Dollar exchange rate warrant a price decrease, which is being passed on to consumers with this price revision."
