One of 99 Volkswagen Polo GTI seen abandoned in Bhubaneswar

This Volkswagen Polo GTI seems to be in a poor shape with a part of its front bumper missing and a dent and a deep scratch on the right rear fender.

A limited-edition 3-door Volkswagen Polo GTI has been spotted abandoned at a Volkswagen showroom in Bhubaneswar.

There are no details available on the car's history. This particular Polo GTI seems to be in a poor shape with a part of its front bumper missing and a dent and a deep scratch on the right rear fender.

Volkswagen sold only 99 units of the GTI in India. The hot hatch is powered by a 1.8-liter TSI putting out 189 BHP and 250 Nm of torque. Equipped with a 7-speed DSG gearbox, the Polo GTI is claimed to reach a top speed of 233 km/hr.

Despite the performance figures, the car found few takers due to its high price and dealers offered lucrative discounts to clear stocks.
