Now, get married on the Buddh F1 Track!

Think of a race track and the first things that come to mind include professional racers, high performance cars and motorcycles, along with everyday petrol-heads who come to push their own machines to the limit on track days. The Buddh International Circuit for one, has been in the news mostly because of the car launches held there which seem to exceed the number of actual car races.

Now, it looks like the track will play host to weddings as well. An image of a wedding invitation has been shared by BHPian Bubby that reads "The first wedding at the F1 track" and "It happens only in India". As per the announcement, the wedding is being held on the 24^th of July.

Given the motorsport lull at the BIC, this is most likely a move to ensure that the track makes some money to sustain itself. Weddings are a major business in India, and the income generated from renting the track for weddings could prove to be lucrative. That being said, we can only hope that the track administration doesn’t forget the track's true purpose in favour of money generation nuptials
