Next-gen Mahindra Scorpio interiors spied

The new Scorpio gets a more contemporary looking dashboard.

New spy images of the next-gen Mahindra Scorpio have surfaced online. The latest set of images give us a better look at the SUV's centre console and instrument cluster.

The new Scorpio gets a more contemporary looking dashboard. The centre console has a piano black finish. It houses a touchscreen infotainment head-unit that is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Below the screen is a row of physical buttons for Music, Phone and other functions. This particular variant is also equipped with automatic climate control. It has a rotary dial for off-road driving modes and 4-wheel drive functions.

The Scorpio will be offered with a new flat-bottom steering wheel and a conventional twin-dial instrument cluster that appears to have a fairly large MID in the centre.

The new Scorpio is likely to be offered with a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 158 BHP. The engine could be paired with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission. An all-wheel-drive system is expected to be offered in select variants.
