MV Agusta Brutale 1090 and F3 800 unveiled in India

The Kinetic Group, official importer of MV Agusta motorcycles, has unveiled the MV Agusta Brutale 1090 and MV Agusta F3 800 motorcycles in India.

The MV Agusta Brutale 1090 was originally designed by the legendary Italian motorcycle designer, Massimo Tamburini. It is powered by a 1,078cc, 4-cylinder, 4-stroke engine that produces 142 BHP @ 10,300 rpm and 112 Nm of torque @ 8,100 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. MV Agusta claims that the bike can touch a top speed of 265 kph. Stopping power is provided by dual disc brakes at the front and a single disc at the rear. The bike is equipped with electronics such as an 8-stage traction control system and ABS.

The Brutale 1090 has a steel tubular trellis frame with telescopic fork suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The bike measures 2,100 mm in length and 775 mm in width. It has a wheelbase of 1,438 mm, ground clearance of 140 mm and a dry weight of 183 kg. It has a fuel tank capacity of 23 litres and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The Brutale 1090 is priced at Rs. 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune). The delivery period for the bike is 2-3 weeks.

The MV Agusta F3 800, is powered by a 798cc, 3-cylinder, 4-stroke engine that develops 146 BHP @ 13,000 rpm and 88 Nm of torque @ 10,600 rpm. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The top speed of the bike according to MV Agusta is 269 kph. The bike is equipped with 8-stage traction control and anti-lock brakes (ABS) and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels.

The launch of the F3 800 is scheduled for early 2016. It's pricing will be announced closer to the date of the launch.

The Kinetic Group has an exclusive partnership with MV Agusta for the Indian market, and will be providing spares, service and aftersales support for customers in India. The Kinetic Group will set up a chain of showrooms called Motoroyale in major metro cities across India.
