More images: MG Hector Plus spotted in Starry Sky Blue shade

More images of the MG Hector Plus finished in a blue shade called Starry Sky Blue have surfaced online.

The dark blue exterior colour seen in these images is a new addition to the colour palette offered by MG. It could be available exclusively on the Hector Plus.

The Hector Plus is longer than the regular Hector and will be offered with a third row of seats. On the outside, the SUV gets minor changes to the headlamp clusters that are positioned lower down on the front bumper. The grille has chrome inserts with a large MG logo in the centre, while the front bumper has a silver skid plate.

At the rear, the Hector Plus gets a chrome strip above the number plate holder. The dual-tone rear bumper has a skid plate insert finished in sliver. The high mounted stop lamp is integrated into the roof spoiler.

The Hector Plus is expected to be powered by a 2.0-litre diesel producing 168 BHP and 350 Nm. The engine could be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. It could also get a 1.5-litre, turbo-petrol engine mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed DCT as well as a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid powertrain.
