Mick Schumacher to compete in MRF Challenge season finale

The 2015 MRF Challenge will be heading to Chennai for its finale after three rounds in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Dubai respectively.

The MRF Challenge will witness the debut of Mick Schumacher, son of legendary Formula One driver and 7-time world champion Michael Schumacher. The 16-year old will race outside Europe for the first time and will be behind the wheel of the MRF F2000 built by JA Motorsport.

2-time Formula One champion Emerson Fittipaldi's grandson - Pietro Fittipaldi is currently leading the championship with 168 points while Tatiana Calderon holds 2nd place with 150 points. Russia's Nikita Troitckii sits at 137 points, while Alessio Picariello, with 4 podium finishes this year has 134 points to his name. Chennai's Tarun Reddy will be the lone Indian at this year's championship.
