MG Windsor EV with battery priced from Rs 13.50 lakh

The Windsor EV packs a 38 kWh battery that is said to deliver a range of 332 km.

MG recently launched its third pure EV, the Windsor, in the Indian market. The carmaker has now announced the prices of all three variants, including the battery pack.

The MG Windsor EV is available in Excite, Exclusive and Essence variants. If you opt out of the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program, the Windsor EV will cost Rs 13,49,800 (ex-showroom) for the base variant. The Exclusive trim costs Rs 14,49,800, while the top-spec Essence trim will set you back Rs 15,49,800. MG also offers an assured 60% buyback after 3 years / 45,000 km and a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner.

The MG Windsor EV features low-set LED headlamps and an LED light bar stretching across the front fascia. The rear features L-shaped LED taillights connected by an LED light bar.

Inside, the Windsor EV gets a 15.6-inch Grandview Touch Display – the largest touchscreen infotainment system in the segment and Aero-Lounge seats in the rear that can recline up to 135 degrees. Other features include a 2-spoke steering wheel with a digital instrument cluster, an Infinity View glass roof, a powered tailgate, power-adjustable front seats, a wireless phone charger and connected car tech.

The Windsor EV packs a 38 kWh battery that is said to deliver a range of 332 km. It powers an electric motor with an output of 134 BHP and 200 Nm. The car has four driving modes: Eco+, Eco, Normal and Sport. It supports DC fast charging, which takes 40 minutes to charge the battery pack.
