KTM has increased the prices of the RC 200 by Rs 12,000. The bike now costs Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom).
The RC 200 is powered by a 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which has now been upgraded to comply with the latest OBD-2B emission norms. It produces 24.6 BHP and 19.2 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
One of the main rivals of the KTM RC 200 is the Yamaha R15 V4. It costs Rs 1.84 lakh, which seems more affordable following the price revision of the RC 200.
Earlier this week, Yamaha announced a 10-year warranty across all made-in-India products, including the R15. The bike comes with a 2-year standard warranty and an 8-year extended warranty, which is being offered free of cost for a limited period.
